Texas Pecan Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp bourbon

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Fit the pie crust into a tart pan.
  2. Whisk together the syrup, sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, and bourbon.
  3. Stir in the pecans and pour the mixture into the crust.
  4. Bake for 45–50 minutes until set.
  5. Cool before drizzling with bourbon caramel sauce.
