Texas Pecan Tart
A bourbon-kissed Texas pecan tart with a buttery crust — the indulgent close to our Gulf Coast Elegance menu.
Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp bourbon
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Fit the pie crust into a tart pan.
- Whisk together the syrup, sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, and bourbon.
- Stir in the pecans and pour the mixture into the crust.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until set.
- Cool before drizzling with bourbon caramel sauce.
