Shrimp & Grits
Plump Gulf shrimp over cheddar-rich stone-ground grits — Southern comfort, refined, from our Coastal Comfort menu.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Gulf shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup quick-cooking grits
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
- Cook the grits according to package instructions with the water. Stir in the cheese until melted; season with salt.
- Heat the oil in a skillet, sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add the shrimp.
- Cook the shrimp until pink; season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the shrimp over the cheesy grits.
