Prickly Pear Sorbet
A jewel-toned, refreshing sorbet of prickly pear and lime — the light finish to our Bayou Fusion menu.
Ingredients
- 2 cups prickly pear puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Method
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and heat until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.
- Mix the prickly pear puree, lime juice, and cooled sugar syrup.
- Freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
