Oysters Rockefeller Bites

Broiled Gulf oysters with buttered spinach and Parmesan — a warm, elegant opener from our Gulf Coast Elegance menu.

Ingredients

  • 12 Gulf oysters, shucked
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Preheat the broiler and arrange the oysters on a baking sheet.
  2. In a pan, sauté the spinach in butter until wilted; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Top each oyster with spinach and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
  4. Broil for 3–4 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  5. Serve immediately.
