Ingredients

  • 6 single-serve bags (or 6 cups) Fritos corn chips
  • 4 cups Texas red chili, warm
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • Pickled jalapeños
  • Sour cream

Method

  1. For the classic "walking" version, split a bag of Fritos lengthwise and spoon warm chili right in; or layer Fritos in bowls.
  2. Top with chili, cheddar, onion, and jalapeños.
  3. Add a dollop of sour cream and eat immediately, while the chips still have crunch.

Assemble to order so the Fritos stay crisp. Pairs with our Texas Red.
