Crab-Stuffed Avocado

Ripe avocado halves filled with lime-bright blue crab, cilantro, and a touch of jalapeño — a chilled starter from our Gulf Coast Elegance menu.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blue crab meat
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 jalapeño, finely diced
  • 2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the crab meat, lime juice, cilantro, jalapeño, salt, and pepper.
  2. Fill each avocado half with the crab mixture.
  3. Serve chilled.
